Country Manager - Yilong Li

Before coming to the UK, Yilong worked in Tourism, arranging tours in his native Danshan. Yilong then came to the UK to study for his masters in Tourism before joining GVP. As part of his induction he spent time helping in the UK office with basic administration and after a period of training which included working alongside our overseas team in India, Yilong moved to China to take over our projects in Beijing.

Following his studies in the UK and working in the UK office, Yilong is well placed to understand the needs of our volunteers. He'll do his absolute best to help you settle in, teach you some basic Chinese, give you a thorough introduction to Beijing and even accompany you on your first day at the placement.

Yilong is football mad although he supports AC Milan.
